Hospitality Ministry

Purpose

• This ministry supports parish events by promoting goodwill and fellowship. Members organize and set up for the various Parish events, such as the monthly Wine and Cheese Social, the Coffee Social and Evenings of Prayer receptions.

Hospitality Weekends

• Hospitality Weekends take place monthly from Oct. – May after the 4 p.m. Mass (Wine & Cheese Social) and the 11:15 a.m. Mass (Coffee Social).

Time Commitment

• We are looking for groups of 3-4 parishioners to volunteer to “host” one of the monthly socials. They meet with the coordinators who walk them through what needs to be done to ensure a successful event requiring approx. 2-3 hours per event.

Evening Prayer Receptions

• The Solemn Celebration of Evening Prayer with Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament takes place monthly from Sept. – May followed by a reception with light refreshments. We are in need of 3-4 volunteers to bake a sweet treat as well as assist with setup and clean up. This is a great ministry for families!

Time Commitment

• 1-2 hours per month
