The Knights of Columbus, Council 2533, is a fraternal organization of Catholic men age 18 and over.

  • The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with over 1.9 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.
  • Programs center around church, family community, youth, council and pro-life, wherever the need is greatest. As the strong right arm of the church they sponsor various church related activities.
  • Knights of Columbus Council 2533 encompasses the Glastonbury community. The Knights maintain strong ties to the pastors of these churches.
  • The Council sponsors many events and programs and some of which are listed below.
    • Fundraisers to support Special Olympics
    • Keep Christ in Christmas
    • Turkey Drive (November) and Ham Drive (Easter season) benefitting the Little Sisters of the Poor in Enfield, CT
    • Volunteer at the annual Hebron Harvest Fair
    • Support various parish events such as Eucharistic Procession
  • The Council provides an honor guard for various functions such as Confirmation or a Mass said by visiting hierarchy.
